The venerable 488 was one of the most celebrated projects of designer Flavio Manzoni. From the beginning, the car was praised for its confident handling, responsive steering and impressive powertrain. In fact, Ferrari’s mid-mounted “F154” 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 was awarded “International Engine of the Year” by a panel of automotive journalists from around the world for four consecutive years from 2016 to 2019.
